EGMas

EGMas is European Glider Manufacturers and suppliers association. An Association of European companies dealing mainly with producing and repairing of  gliders (aircraft without engine) or their components. We are oriented to issues related to countries joining EU this year, May 5th 2004. Producers wishing to join the Association from other EU countries are welcomed.

These days EGMas has four founders, representing 80% of gliders production in whole East Europe.

What do we represent ?

• we represent second biggest syndicate of glider producers in the world
• our members make up more then 80% of east-European gliders production
• we export most of our gliders outside of EU
• we encourage and promote competitiveness within the whole EU

What do we want ?

• Supporting and protecting concerns of Association members and entire general aviation
• Propagation of recreation and sport aviation to the public, especially its safety, efficiency and social utility
• Support of building-up infrastructure needed for producing sport planes and their components
• Cooperation with governmental institutions, with regard to legislation and standards, that considers the needs and interests of sport and recreation aviation
• Offering help to nembers, offering information about issues related to sport planes producing
• Internatianal exchange of information and experience, colaboration with national and supranational sport aviation organizations
